For those wishing to stay in one of the finest and most central areas of Amsterdam, this is the ideal location. A short walk will take you to some of Amsterdam’s most emblematic squares, such as Waterlooplein, Rembrandtplein and the Nieuwmarkt. The Rembrandt museum is very nearby, but so is the Nieuwmarkt, with its weekend market, many cafés, restaurants and sparkling nightlife.
Public transport it excellent as the metro is a nearby, and since you’re in the heart of Amsterdam’s old city center, from here you can easily reach the Hermitage museum, as well as the beautiful canal belt, the Amstel river and any number of restaurants, shops and a good selection of supermarkets.
