This new, charming, clean and comfortable base in the historical city centre is suitable for both short and long stays. Enjoy great views over the Amstel and beyond from all four floors as far as the famous Amstel Hotel. Meet the nice neighbours and experience the city vibes just by sitting on your private bench in front of this charming canal house.

Divided over four floors, the front ‘Dutch’ door (a door that you can also only open the upper half) of this lovely canal house opens onto the live-in kitchen. The kitchen is for real gourmets, and is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, extractor fan, juicer, espresso machine and all necessities to enjoy a real dining experience. The dining table overlooks the canal. Outside there is a South-facing private bench on which you can enjoy sun from morning to early afternoon.

The first floor features a living room with cozy fireplace and dreamy spot to look out over the canal.

The bedroom with the bathroom and toilet is up on the next floor.

The topmost floor features an atelier-like study with wrap-around desk offering sufficient space for two to comfortably work. Due to the white floor and slanting ceiling there’s a creative vibe here.

There’s a washer/dryer available in the home, as well as cable TV and wireless Internet.


An ideal base for both business as leasure trips with perfect public transport (tram, metro, taxi) on 2 minutes and highlights just around the corner such as The Skinny Bridge, Hermitage, Royal Theater Carré, Opera House and the shopping & dining ‘Utrechtsestraat’. More places of interest like Rijks & van Gogh museum, Vondelpark and Albert Cuyp street market in hip and upcoming ‘de Pijp’ area within hiking (or biking) distance.

From airport:
Train to Amsterdam RAI > Tramline 4 > Stop Frederiksplein > Walk 2min.
Train to Amsterdam CS > Tramline 4 > Stop Frederiksplein > Walk 2min.
Train to Amsterdam CS > Metro all lines > Stop Weesperplein > Walk 5min.

The Weesperplein metro station is just across the Amstel; this station regularly serves Central Station and Amsterdam Arena / Zuid Oost. Tram 4 is within a few minutes walk and brings one further into the heart of the city, or to station Rai, which provides an excellent connection to Schiphol airport.

* We deliver the apartment clean, and require the apartment returned clean enough that the cleaning fee is not exceeded.
* Please inquire for our regular cleaning and laundry services.
* Dinner with a few friends? No problem. Parties are strictly forbidden. Evidence of parties will be penalized via a deposit deduction of €.500.
* Keep the neighbours in mind when you’re outside the building in the evening.
* For your personal safety and possessions, do not admit (bring home) strangers to the apartment.
* Contact us directly (not the neighbours) in case you have questions.
* The apartment is not suitable for kids, there is only one bedroom.
* Pets are not allowed.
